We are so glad you are here! That is the first step toward experiencing the warm, inviting, and friendly group of believers we call fondly call the First Family. You can be assured whether you are young or old, when you come to FBCA, you will be welcomed with open arms into a strong, encouraging community.
Sundays begin at 9:15 am in our Family Center where you will find complimentary coffee and donuts waiting, warm smiles, and people ready to assist you in locating Bible study Small Groups for every age. The Worship Service follows at 10:30 am where we have a mix of contemporary and traditional music. Heartfelt, genuine worship. Our pastor preaches by focusing on presenting and applying Bible passages, generally using the New King James Version of the Bible. Childcare is available from birth to 4 yrs.
While the people of First Baptist are happy to have you here and genuinely interested in getting to know you, we also want you feel welcome. You will not be called on or embarrassed in any way. You can relax and enjoy meeting people at your own pace.
No, you don't. We encourage people to dress comfortably. For some, that may mean dressing up, but for others it means wearing casual clothes. The New Testament simply instructs us to dress modestly and decently. We want everyone to come, be comfortable, and enjoy learning about God together.
Your children will love First Baptist! We have a fantastic Children's Ministry Director, and children are a priority at FBCA. Children 5 and older remain in church with their parents. Children enjoy the music, witness people around them worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, and experience worship themselves in more of a "family" setting.
The Children's ministry includes Sunday morning small groups at 9:30 am, Wednesday night fun (6:30-8 pm), as well as other great ministries American Heritage Girls, Trail Life, USA, and our School of Fine Arts.
We also provide a safe, comfortable nursery for birth to 4 yrs.
Our service is a blend of traditional and contemporary worship.
We observe "open communion" which means anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is welcome to participate regardless of church affiliation.
We collect an offering to support the work of our church and missions in our country and around the world. Giving can be done online, in person, or through the mail.
Feel free to contact us, and we will be happy to answer any questions you might have. You may also call the church office at 863-967-4484 or 863-397-6608.
