A Place for You with People Who Care!

What is B.L.A.S.T. and its purpose?
B.L.A.S.T.  is a fun, interactive ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him.
All parts of B.L.A.S.T.—Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application, missions, and recreation—connect to teach
children about God and His word, as well as, how God's word effects our lives.  The children will not only learn about
Southern Baptist missions, but will be given an opportunity to participate in missions themselves.

What does B.L.A.S.T. stand for?
It is all about children:   Believing, Learning, Acting, and Serving Together.   The lessons are built around their "mission"
for the evening.  They receive "training",  and like special agents, they are fulfilling their mission for Christ by using
what they have been taught!

What happens at a B.L.A.S.T. meeting?
B.L.A.S.T.  is designed for children to understand the Bible more deeply and to effect their life.  All parts of the
B.L.A.S.T. evening focus on one Bible message. The games, Bible story, memory verse, missions, crafts, and
refreshments all contribute to help children understand and apply God’s Word to their lives.

What is the recognition program?
B.L.A.S.T. recognizes each child for attending the meetings, completing Bible-related work, and bringing friends with them.
Because children earn points they can redeem for items in a B.L.A.S.T. Store. Each person is encouraged to do their best
to earn their reward.  Metals are given at the end of year B.L.A.S.T. Party.  These metals are for Bible Memory.
